CEB organised an open day and invited the public to enter its Biotechnology and Bioengineering laboratories.
From 20th – 26th November, CEB opened its doors to the Science and Technology Week of 2018.
This activity aims at promoting culture, science and art amongst youths, and assist students keen on furthering education to make sensible rational choices for the future.
Under the Ciência Viva at Laboratory 2018 Programme, CEB received students for one-week internships in the Environmental Microbiology laboratory.
The programme included seminars and workshops delivered by key speakers in the field of Biological Engineering and Biotechnology, including entrepreneurs, industrialists, academics, alumni, investors, associations that promote employment and entrepreneurship, among others.
CEB will hold the 2nd edition of CEB Talk on November 23rd at 9pm, at GNRation, with the support of Startup Braga. The event is oriented towards entrepreneurship with the presentation of CEB projects / technologies of a translational nature, some of them under development by CEB spinoffs.
CEB and DEB opened their doors in an Open Weekend that aimed to show to younger people how to produce yogurt and to use yeast in experiments.
The project R&D DermoID results of a joint action involving the UMinho (including CEB), TecMinho and Interhigiene.
CEB organised the “Proteome 2 Gene 2 Protein 2” Course that took place at Campus de Gualtar, Braga, from March 26th – 29th 2018
